FAQs
Selling a phone system - common questions
We buy business phone systems from all the major manufacturers, including Nortel, Mitel, Avaya, Cisco, ShoreTel, Polycom and Yealink. That covers handsets, base units, expansion modules, conference units, headsets and complete PBX or VoIP installations.
Yes. Legacy and end-of-life equipment often still holds real value as refurbished stock or spare parts, because organisations still running those systems need replacements. That includes analogue Nortel PBX systems and discontinued Mitel and Avaya units.
Yes. We value the old handsets and hardware, collect them, and recycle anything without resale value. If you need new handsets for the new system, we stock Teams and Zoom certified IP phones.
Both. A box of spare handsets, a single conference unit or a complete PBX installation are all worth sending us. We price each item individually rather than lumping a system together.
Yes. If you are replacing phones across several locations, we coordinate UK-wide collections on a timeline that suits you, from ten phones to a thousand.
Every handset and unit is factory reset, so configurations, directories and call settings are cleared. Any storage in the system is wiped to government and industry standards or physically destroyed, with certificates available for your records.
It depends on the make and model, condition, completeness and quantity. Demand for spares matters too: parts for widely used systems often sell well long after the manufacturer stops supporting them. Before you sell, read the common mistakes when selling used phone systems.
