Processors

Intel Xeon and Xeon Scalable server processors, verified against stepping and specification, tested in a live socket before dispatch.

Every CPU is checked

Remarked and relabelled processors are a genuine problem in the used market. A CPU can be physically relabelled to present as a higher specification part, and the buyer only discovers it once the machine is built. Every processor we sell is verified against its stepping and specification before listing, and tested in a live socket before it ships.

What we stock

Stock covers Xeon E5 and E7 families alongside Xeon Scalable, in the core counts and clock speeds that come through decommissioning projects. Matched pairs for dual-socket boards are available where a project yielded them.

Why buy used server processors

Processors have no moving parts and no meaningful wear mechanism under normal operation. A tested Xeon performs exactly as it did on day one, and for a board generation the manufacturer no longer supplies, the secondary market is the only source. Upgrading core count on existing servers is usually far cheaper than replacing the servers.

Socket and board compatibility

Socket type, chipset support and required BIOS revision all matter. Tell us the server model or board you are fitting to and we will confirm compatibility before you order.
